Who We Are

The Ink Stone is a retail store located at the corner of Bowditch St. & Bancroft St. Specializing in over-sized architecture and engineering prints in addition to over-sized full color prints.

Established over 30 years ago, The Ink Stone strives to be the place for architects, engineers, and students alike to receive quality customer service and fast turn-around.

Staffed by employees of all walks of life: from current UC Berkeley students, UC Grads, and those outside the art/architecture/engineering field.

We always print first come/first serve for anyone in the Bay Area.

The Ink Stone is one of the last truly independent art supply/printing shops in the East Bay.

The Ink Stone has also partnered with Alvin Co, the country’s largest drafting supply distributor, to give our customers a tremendous selection of specialized merchandise.
We have a minimum order of $15.00 + shipping
15% off prices shown on all drafting supplies and 10% off on all Furniture when ordered in-store.

If we know beforehand, we can be ready for your projects with all the supplies you need.

Hours of Operation

Monday - Thursday: 9 AM - 9 PM
Friday: 9 AM - 7 PM
Saturday: 11 AM - 7 PM
Sunday: 11 AM - 9 PM
