FTP

The Ink Stone offers a FTP for those larger files that won’t send through email.

Our FTP is user and password protected.

To access the FTP, you will need a FTP Client. The popular ones are Filezilla or CuteFTP.

Port: 21

Example of how to configure FileZilla:

1) Open the FileZilla FTP Client

2) To set up connection: Go to File menu (File ⇀ Site Manager).

3) Click on New Site⇀  Name the New Site. Ex: Inkstone ftp

4) In General Tab: Fill in the following information

Protocol: FTP – File Transfer Protocol

Host: ftp://theinkstone.com

Port: 21

Encryption: Only use plain FTP

Logon Type: Normal

User: files@theinkstone.com

Password: Inkstoneftp1!

5) Click Ok.

6) To open a connection to your FTP server, select the Site Manager feature from the File menu (File ⇀ Site Manager).

7) Select your domain from the Select Entry menu. Ex: Inkstone ftp

8) Click the Connect button to connect to your FTP server.

Once you have access to the FTP, you can add a folder and upload your files.
With this FTP, we will not be hosting files for more than 1 business day.
If you receive scans, you must download them from the site within that time period.

Follow these directions before you call for assistance. Some networks will not allow connections with The Ink Stone’s FTP server, we can do nothing about this due to security settings.
